The scope of works set out the rehabilitation of the DR2963and MR739 from the National Route N7 to Hondeklibaai, phase 2, Klipfontein km 12.0 to MR 739 km 19.8. Also in the works was building a new road. The project entailed works from clearing and grubbing, culverts, borrow materials, mass earthworks, pavement layers, prime single seal slurry gabions, guardrails, road signs, road markings and finishing the road and road reserve.
