SPH Driefontein operation started this project in November last year. It involved constructing haul roads and converting a railway bridge to a road bridge to safely navigate the N14.

The current production is 9000 tons per day of gold bearing waste rock scalped at Libanon and delivered over 16 km to 3 different gold plants at Driefontein mine.
