Hydro cutting (Water jetting) at N1 between the R42 Vanderbijlpark Interchange and the N12 Split

Removal of Thermo-Plastic Roadmarking on the existing concrete road surface. Over time the client applied numerous layers of thermos-plastic roadmarking on this section of road which resulted in a buildup of approximately 4mm – 6mm. These roadmarking deteriorated to the extent where another application would have resulted in substandard work. The decision was made to remove the existing roadmarking completely and apply the roadmarking on a cleaned surface.
