Construction of the Phase 1 Tailings Storage Facility and the Northern and Southern Pit Pollution Control Dams, including bulk earthworks, a 21 m concrete penstock tower, HDPE lining, drainage and leak detection systems, concrete structures and water management infrastructure. Additional works included access and haulage roads, platforms, PGM infrastructure, pipelines, cyclones, piezometers, change houses and ablution facilities.
